Its not god for certain specialized purposes (concealment, very long range, big game hunting)

I would say it has proven itself as a fine long range target gun at Camp Perry High Power 1000 yard targets as well as in the AR-10 (.308 caliber) it can take pretty much any animal in the lower 48 states. I have several in various calibers including .223/5.56, .22lr, 300 blackout and 6.8mm SPC. The list of calibers is quite extensive.

The AR platform has become widely popular for makers of military and sporting rifles. Although the designations "AR-10" and "AR-15" are trademarks of Colt's Manufacturing Company variants of both are made by many manufacturers.

I don't need to put an AR 15 into a special category.

I just don't think it's needed. Do we need more and more guns even if they don't serve a purpose other than killing people?

Even you say it isn't good for hunting unless it's modified.

Do hunters or anybody else need guns with clips that hold 15 or more bullets?

Are you in favor of citizens owning "small" nukes?

If not, WHY not? Are you against the 2nd amendment? NO tyrannical government could take over if EVERY law abiding citizen had a small nuke.

You wouldn't even need to clean or cook the animal. It would be cleaned and cooked INSTANTLY.
