John 30 years of trying to understand Macro economics as an amateur left me with the thought in 08 that the FED was not doing what it should . Who has a model that explains why the FED's model does not work ? How would one be built ?

Steve Keen has one and it explains why we keep getting these crashes rather than slow downs . 1/2 down the link is a video " Edinburgh University Talk " he gives an answer to both ?s .

debtdeflation.com

For provocative - the housing crises was a criminal act .

For interesting - bailout consumer/the main engine of NA , Europe GDP .

The nail - Debt to GDP and its growth/rate of over cycles . This needs to be expanded . At some point if you need it will do .

Hope this helps ! Have fun .
