When did the for profit health insurance industry fight it?

never.

the corporate fascist Obama admin took the health insurance industry plan and shoved it down America's throat.

Why? to break them? hardly.

to plunder the middle class?

Of course the insurance companies were in favor of Obamacare.............it was coming whether they liked it or not. Better to get on board the gravy train and just go along. Obama was sure to make it palatable for them so as to buy their support. However they knew the additional costs written into the law and just raised their rates accordingly. For years, New York had very similar Obamacare provisions written into law and it destroyed the individual insurance market in NY. The coops were meant to convince everyone to move to the single payer system quicker. As long as they could be subsidized, they could be called successes. Everyone has said Obamacare is a primarily a wealth redistribution plan. Obviously it has little effect on the rather small percentage of the really rich. The middle class gets hurt badly as their health premiums sky rocket and their health dollars get redistributed down scale. But this is but one aspect of the destruction of the middle class. There are many others. The leftist know all too well that only a LARGE healthy thriving middle class can stop their agenda. Decimate the middle class and the large majority of down scalers vote LEFT. I just hope there is enough of the middle class left by next November.

It is a giant welfare program w/o cost controls. Obamba even guaranteed insurance companies profits. By either subsidizing them or letting them hike.
