Gene & ALL,

I'm sure you are aware UMSI now selling at the ask .09. Over 90,000 shares traded. Question? Why isn't the bid and ask moving? How many of these stinking shares are still out there?

Gene, I think you just answered that question in your post, except for the number of shares.

Damn, I just remembered I haven't called my broker about the certs. Am going to do that now. Is anyone besides Gene doing that?

Have a great day everyone.

HG

Gene: Can a foreign investor/ manipulator find the mechanics to legally (or without repercussions) short a stock like UMSI, or do all the same controls apply?

Gene,

I surely don't know much about shorting stocks. Never done it. I found it interesting that you can't short a stock selling for under $5.00...is there some market cap limitations as well? I noticed on another thread:

Message 1499389

they seem to be shorting stocks selling for under $5.00. I read a few
messages on that link, and it appeared some people were able to do it, and others were not, or a least having trouble with their broker in that regard.

I have vowed to get off my kester and look the matter up in the Code of Fed. Regs., but I thought you might clarify your understanding of this messy shorting business to me first.

Thanks,

Skaar
