TO ALL: POG, Y2K, YARDENI, CNN

Hi guys!

I am interested in both POG and Y2K. I found this on the y2k thread; thanks to vpelt.

I hope some of you POG specialists ;-) will watch this MoneyLine show, and comment on the POG thread the effect of Y2K (as seen by Ed Yardeni) on the POG. Essentially, will gold become the 'safe haven' in the event of a disastrous y2k development?

Regards, merry Christmas!

John

<<SOUND BITES: I am scheduled to appear on CNBC's "Power Lunch" on Monday, Dec 21, at 1:00 pm (EST) and the CNN's taped New Year's Eve "Money Line" show to discuss the Year 2000 Problem.>>

Any number that is divisible by 9, will have digits which when added up add to nine.

Numerologists have always made a big deal of this, but in fact it is a property of the highest digit in any number base system. EG for base 7 (which some African countries use) 6 is the highest digit. The number 666 when added together will give you: 24 (IE 2 * 7, + 4 *1) which in turn adds up to 6.

So there's nothing special here.

Regards

Michael

Richnorth,

Your right. It is my year seeing last year was a flop. So divide it up
all you want as long as it ends up in the + column for me. Multiply it
by whatever you want as long as it multiplys my returns:-)))))).
