ok Koan- we've done that before. We aren't good at picking the "good guys". And we invariably put guns in the hands of people who end up pointing them at us. Remember Reagan- and how much he loved those guys who were the moral equivalent of our founding fathers? How about we stay out of other regions we know little about? How about we control our hubris, and have some patience? We need to guard our own borders, and stay out of other countries' affairs as much as possible.>.

I don't believe in isolationism . I believe either the world learns to work together, or the human species becomes extinct.

I am not advocating doing anything without NATO , or the cooperation of other nations.

But the days of tribalism are long past.
