..you know how wars work

you fight em, and then when you win, you get to occupy and keep the territory..

if we had only let our troops win, we would now have Korea, Viet Nam and Iraq as states, with Syria on the horizon

idiots on parade from the circle jerk crowd...

Al,
I do...if you don't, then tell us what you would do differently....
ISIS is a geographic caliphate, so we know where to go. So let's go in, take out their capital, liberate every city and stronghold they have taken, and give them all back to their original owners.

Either that, or let's GTFO completely and not risk any more involvement in a Syrian civil war where there are no good guys. Maybe that will convince ISIS to leave us alone.

Obama is trying to do something in between, but it's clear he doesn't know WTF he is doing. Just a day before the Paris attacks, he declared ISIS as "contained." And just a day afterwards, he called the attacks a "setback" and refused to take back his "contained" analysis.

Never forget that Obama once called ISIS the "JV team" and admitted out loud that he did not have a plan to deal with them. Like I said, he's been wrong about ISIS every step of the way, and to consider anything he's doing right now as "smart" is naive.
