If the Constitution were written by Jefferson today I'm sure that he would take all those things into account.

But I don't see how ANY of those things would have affected the right to free speech or a free press.

If Jefferson could have seen today's guns I think he would have been a bit more circumspect on the right to bear arms.

The killers will always be able to get weapons. Its not easy but they always seem to go the extra mile to get them. The left wing nuts want the public in general to be disarmed. Jefferson would be happy with the advancement in weapons that allow our democratic republic to remain free form tyranny.
