You're not trying to rewrite history are you? You do realize that the KKK is a militant off shoot group from the democrat party and has nothing to do with the right wing. Matter of fact one of their primary goals was to combat the carpet baggers (republicans) coming down from the north in the fear that all blacks would join the GOP.
