Scott -- thanks. But I had no problem. I ordered from their direct line and
got the GVIL x2 and the Newscatcher (which I happen to like, by the way)
for the $49. giveaway price. Got it before x-mas, too. No problems either
way. And the modem is fantastic.

Forget Atlas modems. My Global Village connects at 48K,
but the Atlas connected at 33K or 37K once in a while.
Fortunately, Best Buy gave me a refund, no questions
asked. I will order the Global Village.
