There won't be evidence. Whether or not you believe in something higher prolly depends on whether or not you are one of the we hippies who think there is a higher self. In my case, the spirit is energy. Energy can't be destroyed, and it's not being converted to mass ( there are some suggestions that the body loses weight at death, but none saying it gains), so it's gotta go somewhere, which is back to the Great Spirit we hippies used to talk about.

As we've pointed out before, koan, you're an agnostic. That mere bit of doubt you harbor makes you so. I'm an agnostic, content knowing that I do not know, and believing that no one else knows either. Those that claim to know are, to me, self-deluded. The only logical, defensible position is to be agnostic.
