Mike, I might be wrong, but any individual who actually files the papers for incorporation or is responsible for the filings could be the "agent" of incorporation. I myself was the "agent of incorporations" for a relative's business and am not actively involved. Jin

Mike,

My hats off to you on this post! You are right on the money. Speaking of money ,,, had each of us done what is now being done with CVIA (investigation) we might not have experienced pain in the past. This has bought out something that I am sure even stumps Jack A.; shareholders want ALL the information they can get. Me must persue this approach to all investing or suffer in silence. We can all LEARN from each other by sharing not only the information gleaned but most important the SOURCE of where we got the information. Pardon me Mike, if I overlooked the obvious but if you would disclose the EXACT department in the state that you spoke to it would also help. Phone numbers is also a great help. Lets all do more sharing of this type of information and stop being blind sheep who are easily lead to slaughter. It would help all if when information is gleaned that we share not only the information but the contacts, department, phone numbers, contact persons and anything else that can help others do the same thing. This is a fantastic learning experience for all. That is what this thread is all about... and a darn good thread I might add, lets keep it that way. Make it a point to share KNOWLEDGE, that is POWER to the investor.

Great job MIKE!!

Dusty

Hello! Mike Boiko,

On your CVIA Posting #1315, it is my impression that you indicated that you felt that FCP Ltd " First Calgary Petroleums, Ltd. , might have some association with the merger discussions/activities!

I have no idea whether FCP Ltd. does or does not have any association or affiliation with the CVIA merger process! However here is some information that I have tracked down on the internet, that may be of some interest !

The President and CEO is Mr. Richard G. Anderson! Another contact person is a Mr. John Kalmar ! More information can be found at

www.sedar.com ( for those that are interested!)

I tracked down the latest reported " Net Cash Position!" for FCP Ltd.
and the the numbers were quite intriguing! The period ending September 30th. 1996, was reported as $1,586,000.

The latest reported period being September 30th., 1997, showed a dramatic increase in "Net Cash Position" reporting $4,656,000.

I'm not an "accountant" nor do I have any idea whether FCP Ltd. is in any way affiliated with the CVIA merger process! ( But! At a glance the healthy appearing "Net Cash Position!" is at least interesting at first glance! Although I do not have any idea how this scenario would or could affect the CVIA status if it were in some way associated!).

Unless I misread or misunderstood the information it appears that FCP Ltd. has been around since some point in the 1940's, and currently is a listed stock trading on the Toronto Listed Stock Exchange!

There is significant information available on the internet, as well as an S.I. Thread on FCP Ltd., so if any of you feel it has some significance relating to the CVIA Merger process, and feel you can provide Jack Arnold with some insight/recommendations regarding such a senario, I'm sure he would be more than interested in hearing your thoughts and viewpoint!

In closing! Let me once again go on record , that I in no way know of any affiliation between CVIA and FCP Ltd., and have only shared the information on this posting, as I felt it might be of interest to other CVIA Thread participants that have previously expressed an interest in FCP Ltd.!

Best Regards,

Wayne J.
