Is this why a lot of companies (Ascend, 3Com, Cabletron, Oracle, SGI, and so on) are hiding the truth because they know the shareholders are in lose-lose situation? As shareholders, we lose when we trust the companies' lies, but we can't win either by filing class-action. And the ambulance-chasing lawyers can't win the case without shareholders' strong support. So is there any incentive for the companies to be honest?

Muleskinner, I didn't have to do anything except endorse the checks. If I had not wanted to participate in the class action I would have had to notify the attorneys, otherwise there was nothing I had to do. Regards, Stan
