If one takes the longer 'godlike' (evolutionary) view of things, both the Roman Byzantine & Sassanid empires were constantly dealing with hostile nomadic incursions long before the rise of Islam. makes sense best if you recognize our liberals have accepted dhimmi status ..... Frustrating point for some to bear this president's lead-from-behind strategy, reluctance to engage ground troops. Such fundmentalist attacks like Paris & ours in Southern Calif have to be expected. Its often easy for some to forget its been going on a long time, nothing has changed and the complexities arew more understood, so this might have been best strategy. The GOP are free to tell us all about what they would do tonight , let's hear it, have chips, 'hummus' & baba ganush ready ! ;0)
