Quote.com has their charts available directly as a free service although the 1 min and 5 min charts cost $10 per month or about 35 cents a copy al-a-carte. We get the same data for free through etrade. But it might be faster than going through e-trade. I might try it to find out. I think the best way is to set up the charts and bookmark them though etrade.

The service through etrade is still too poor for serious day trading using the charts. Maybe some time I'll try one of the real time services. Next time I have trouble getting into etrade to trade, I might try going though the AOL text only connection with etrade.
