To dual-boot Win10 first create a partition or have another drive available for your original Operating System.

Then image the Operating System you want to upgrade.

Next do your upgrade to Windows 10.

After the Windows 10 upgrade is done install EasyBCD on Windows 10.

Now that Windows 10 is installed you can restore your original OS to the extra partition or drive and the Windows bootloader will see both OS installations the next time you boot.

It's been a while since I did this, but if you don't see Win7 in the bootloader go into Win10 and add the Win7 installation to the bootloader by using EasyBCD
