Jon, you seem to have a reputation as a good technician. Can you recommend one book on technical analysis that would be a good read over the long weekend?

Jon,

Is this still the problem you and I corresponded about? I shorted AOL on Datek within minutes of the time you did without a problem. However, it was at the market, without a limit. Perhaps that is a crucial consideration? Otherwise, it must be some kind of glitch, possibly even at your end, although that seems highly unlikely given that you have no trouble with NASDAQ stocks. Changing brokers would seem like a rather drastic solution for what seems to be a technical problem? I have found the speed of execution and the fact that they always have stocks for shorting strong points in Datek's favor. But then I have only e-Schwab for comparison!

Regards, Carl
