U.S. immigration policy is not subject to religious freedom laws, so I see no problem in having an administration exclude whomever they want. There is no obligation to let anyone in. However, Trump went overboard and should have limited his comment to certain countries or refugees only, as others have done.

Totally agree. What really got me though is, that by no laws around today could he prevent anybody - Muslims or not - with the right paperwork in place to return or even enter the first time into the US.

Things used to be tougher, you bet: My wife, travelling on an E2 investors visa was contained in a separate room for almost an hour once, the bitch (sure, a hisp woman to woman) singled her out even though my wife explained, that her E2 was based on the investments of her husband - me - and besides that she had no clue... Wasn't a misunderstanding either, my wife has a perfect command of English. Eventually a black (!) officer entered her room, askede what she was doing there, excused himself and the system while telling her, this were a big misunderstanding and that she should never have ended up in that room!

My wife lost her connection from NYC to San Diego but eventually made it - very late!

My point: She had all the paperwork in order, carried cash and credit cards en masse - and got victim to some idiot boarder control 'officer' kind of bitch.

These days, however, anybody from anywhere, docs or not in order, seem to have no problems entering the land of all promises!

For good reason, my wife decided to sell our place in San Diego and get hell out of the current Obama US.

She actually long ago worked for Pan Am, a green card holder etc. Based in Honolulu for 7 years.
Her illusions of the greatest nation on Earth, all gone.

Obama on TV here in Italy or elsewhere, she turns it off on the spot!
I don't blame her.

The liberals have turned the US into - at the best - a JOKE!

And let that Clinton bitch take over, farewell fairybird!
