Yaacov: Disagree on all counts except the bit about setiments of Institutional investors etc.

PC Sales:IT SURE DOES MATTER,to think otherwise is sophomoric! In case you overlooked, PC sales is one the measures that institutional investors look at, before they change their opinion one way or the other.

Korea to default: Very doubtful, watch closely how the story unfolds.(your account of Korea story,it was all over the papers).

Indonesia: Suharto or no Suharto,Indonesia is no Korea in terms of the size of the economy, industrial output, over all GDP or anything else.I wouldn't loose any sleep over them going insolvent, but i just might if Korea did and besides it is unlikely that they would do choose this avenue to rescue themselves from the mess.

What G7 ? I didn't see G7 coming to help out Mexico or Latin America a few years ago nor did I hear any talks of G7 coming to the rescue of Korea or anybody else in Asia(unless of course I missed the news). To my knowledge only the U.S,Japan and IMF have come to the rescue and most likely the trio would have to bear the brunt of the burden.I for one do not put much faith in the G7 as there are no precedence to date to conclude otherwise.

Swiss Bank/s: I wish they concentrate more on giving back the money and gold to the holocaust victims and spend less time predicting CPQ's well being, then just may be I will start paying more attention to them.

Have a merry Christmas Yaacov, forget about all this mess for the time being, we will have time to worry about it next year. For now, have a few drinks (that is what I am doing now) and enjoy the holidays. All the best.
