i actually buy from dell and CPQ in the BTO programs..
as usual , your theory is a bunch of bunk,
It's about like telling me that you catch STD's from toliet seats and
you actually are a virgin.....

Jim - you don't understand. Disregard the prices posted
on Compaq's website.. they aren't real. As well, don't
pay attention to the prices in Best Buy or CompUSA... these
aren't real either. If consumers and corporations alike
want the best deal from Compaq, they must go through steve
as he is the only one who knows the real price. You see,
he buys thousands and thousands of these systems at a time,
we don't, so we are theoretical idiots who do too much
research. The trick is, according to steve, consumers should
buy home systems in lots of 1000 so they can get a Compaq
machine cheaper than a Dell.
