Andrew,
Yeah, Dell's market cap is larger than Compaq's, nobody is ever gonna buy another computer, the NC is taking over the world, Clinton is honest and the moon is made of cheese.

MERRY CHRISMAS

In a month or two you will need the pleasant memory as you cover north of 100.

Andrew,

On the other hand, Dell's drop is not based on facts so far.
Let first see what the CPQ-numbers will bring us.
But I expect disappointing numbers in the quarters
to come for Dell. But who am I to judge.

Paul

Andrew, you mean to tell me you've got $81K tied up shorting DELL at 81.5. Heaven help you ! I think your going to have a hard time (at least in the near future after Jan. 1 trying to cover your position. The major fund manager's have been selling this stock to lock in gains for the year. IMHO that once the new year commences they are going to get off their butts and start buying again - it's a new ball game for them ! Gutsy move - good luck !
