Some Bear Food For Thought.

Asia is not a major part of Dell's business but is a valuable source of ever decling component costs.
Windows NT 5.0 and Windows 98 are going to spark a major PC upgrade cycle in corporte America which is going to fuel demand for hig-end PCs.
Strong holiday PC sales are going to wake fund managers up the first week of January that the PC boom is not over.
Competitive intensity will continue to drive conslidation in the PC industry with Dell and Compaq the major winners because of their strong business franchises and low cost operating models.
Dell may appear expensive on a PE basis, but if it delivers 50% EPS growth in a slow growth economy with bonds under 6%, the momentum money will return to capture the value this company is creating.
While there are no guarantees, I think it takes a lot courage to bet against the strong fundamentals fueling Dell's growth.

I for one am betting my money that life will be great in '98.

Merry Christmas to all. (Happy Holidays to all you Jewish folks)
