As a hedge against further erosion of the Loonie, they can probably get a lot more for their money by investing in Arizona. I know they like South America - Argentina and Chile, maybe Peru -, but labor and political risks seem to be rising there.

BTW, I have not held any of the Cardero group of companies for years, but I still like some of the prospects and many of the people, and keep them high on my watch list.
