Kingfish Huey P Long was a populist thus threatening to those in power. Quite different to Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has simply put a thin layer of racist-populist frosting on policies beneficial to elite and those in power: lower wages for workers; much lower taxes for those earning more than $450k annually; no inheritance tax for the wealthy.

If someone shoots Donald Trump it will be an ordinary working American who has caught on to Trump's scam.

Powerfully connected families like the Clintons and the very wealthy are trying to figure out how to support Trump while appearing to be opposed to him.

The only reason the Clintons wouldn't be voting for Trump is because they have an immediate family member running.

If Trump gets to be President. He will have to negotiate most anything he wants to do with Congress and the Senate. Other than executive orders he can not make laws on his own. He like the Senate or Congress can propose legislation. But before it is enacted it has to pass the two other bodies. When a bill is passed by Senate and congress he then either veto's it or signs it into law. It has to pass all three or the bill fails.

So he would be limited just as Obama has been. Just the other day Trump said in an interview on CNN he thought the time to have Medicare has come. He said I think Obamacare could be greatly improved. He feels the country needs a health care program. even though most other republicans are against it. Saying "You won't win an election if your against what the majority of voters want and need "

I was actually surprised when he was so open about it. I think Wolf was to as he reaffirmed the statement.

Must retract the Bennett piece.

A kind poster has advised that it is not true.

My apologies.

Donald is no angel. I am sure it wouldn't be hard to buy him and turn him into a useful tool...if not already.
