What I said was compared to what happened in San Bernardino, the Modena incident was schoolboy stuff. That in no way means, that seen by itself, it would be schoolboy stuff. only In my time as a boy, yes, we pulled such stunts and even had Hitler involved in our schoolboy games, but again, that was 70 years ago. The World has changed and Europe and US has changed with that. Compared to what is going on in France and now recently also in Germany, similar actions in Perugia and Modena are minor incidents (I now leave the schoolboys in school, OK) and one can only hope it remains like that. But the outlook for Europe indeed is gloomy and Ms. Merkel with her legacy will face the fact, that this will stick with her and eventually make it into the history books like what it is, a disaster.

Now let us equally hope, that San Bernardino will remain a single case - like 9/11 - and not be the beginning of something bigger in spite of de Blasio's recent effort to curb the action possibilities of the cops in NYC.
