Compared to what is going on in France and now recently also in Germany, similar actions in Perugia and Modena are minor incidents (I now leave the schoolboys in school, OK) and one can only hope it remains like that. But the outlook for Europe indeed is gloomy and Ms. Merkel with her legacy will face the fact, that this will stick with her and eventually make it into the history books like what it is, a disaster. ....yes, so far Italy has not seen the violence as elsewhere. I'd like to visit before it is too late (health reasons) for me. I have many relatives in Trentino province. Still, it's a long shot as I can't really speak Italian.
