Very much and sadly agreed on the blame game being triumphant. Amen on GWB too, the country is much more divisive now than under him. I had to laugh during the SOTU when Obama mentioned it, while not even having a vague clue how much he has had to do with his strong promotion of divisiveness. It's an inevitable development of the attacks on the culture & society while failing to slam the TBTFs and other 1%er type crooks on both sides in jail like happened under Bush 1 with the slimeball S&Ls.

The recent behaviors on easier lending would be funnier if we hadn't had such a mess just a few years ago, and the lessons of history not being so clear. All together now, can anybody say lemmings, greed freaks and cultural suicide?

Don't worry though, we now have MMT and free money forever! /sarc
Just have the government spend all that's needed to make the Utopian wet dream culture, and then raise taxes to help control the inevitable and multiple inflations that result. History shows that always turns out well. /sarc

China's total debt is about $28 trillion, larger than that of the United States or Germany.
