I have a lot of questions with respect to your views on deflation, Iso. I think I understand how you see things but I can't help but think that you (and many others out there) are being "suckered" into this view.

I'll try to add more over the weekend but here's some of the question(s). The drop in the dollar and the lack of faith in the entire global banking/forex/pricing complex caused by the 2008/09 stock market collapse created a situation where hard assets became way over priced. Compounded by a drop in the dollar, the "flight to safety" distorted money flow putting enormous pressure on countries to react. We've seen the results of these reactions and it's only in hindsight that we see how many overreacted. 7 years later, we're seeing a somewhat calmer world even though we haven't seen a reduction in the overreactions by countries with respect to their currencies.

I think it's important to take a much longer and wider view of the USD chart and put it in a 20 or 30 year time frame.....not simply what's transpired over the past 5 years.

Even though I have plenty of questions, I appreciate your sharing the issues you think are going to weigh heavily on the markets (and world) going forward!!
