Prove the short position you're saying is there and you'll get a whole lot of the nays to join your cause. I think you're absolutely correct on this point, although I wouldn't be one of them. I think that even if the short position is proven, the fundamentals and the lies might still get in the way. Add improved fundamentals (or verifiable reason to believe they'll improve) and/or addressing the lies (mgmt change, for example), and I'd join the ranks.
