I agree. I should add that what they're doing right now is something I did a while back in the SYCR thread (the now-standard "anti-Rod" message), although I'm of the arrogant opinion I did mine a little less ineptly. However, I've lived to regret it. Though I still feel very strongly about many of the negative things I've said about Rod, some of the negative things he was saying about the stock recently got proven true, much to the financial misfortune of many folks who chose to ignore him completely. In any event, I sure felt foolish for "attacking the messenger" only to find out later that important parts of the message were true. What I learned was to consider how things may play out, regardless of how I believe they'll play out, and to guide my own actions accordingly. If you spend a lot of time saying bad things about a person or people, and they are later proven correct, it can deal your credibility a fatal blow. It really does strike me as odd that, on the eve of proof of the rightness of one side or the other being delivered by the SEC, some people are putting so much effort into attacking the credibility of someone who disagrees with them. My own approach right now is very much "wait and see". I'm only posting because I feel quite strongly about how wrong it is to attack the messenger rather than the message.
