Dave, that was posted last night in a pfd file. Perhaps some could not read it. Thanks for your post. I also posted a pdf from Lehman stating "boxmakers stopped buying" Intel chips pending the Intel price cut announcment for Feb. This seems to have cost Intel enought business to move the cut up from Feb as previoulsy announced to Dec 29. This has got to hurt Intel earnings as co always try to book every order they can get for year end. Yeilds are up at AMD that is why AMD stayed in production over the holidays when normally they close down. The yield problems must have cost them dearly and they need to migate there losses with the extra production and relsuting last minute sales. As far a I can determine AMD systems are in a sold out status on the retailers shelfs this year while Pentium systems collect dust in inventory. Store managers will undoubtly place replacemnt orders and boxmakers will undoubtly place replenishment orders from AMD.
