Hi Bruce, I copied the page as faithfully as I could, but maybe I
missed a column. I think this list is an easier one:

The picture I get from this lise is that there's been a major
bashing of the semi's. What better opportunity to get involved with
this group is there than when it's been abused by the analysts and
institutions?

I had an interesting note from an AIMer recently that was playing a
familiar tune. He said that AIM was great, but AIM with efficient
buying much better. I agree. Might as well buy stocks near their lows if our crystal ball is good. Jeff Weber takes much the same approach when he's doing his screens.

I know we've all been over-eating the last week, but just thought I'd offer this food for thought!!

Best regards, Tom

Hi Bruce, I did note in CT's list that the Apex value he discusses, he uses differently than I might. he is looking for a bit value as a good buy. I note that the stocks I own tend to have a smaller value. It might seem that a stock that's 25% off both its highs and lows might not be his choice for momentum play, but for AIM, it might be just right.

I'm going to stew about this food for thought!!

Best regards, Tom

Bruce,
CY and LLTC computations got scrambled so I just ---- them.
You can do the math but they fall to the middle of the distribution
anyways.

Why the factoring of low and high
Take a look at asnd or wdc.
When a stock is falling you look for the bottom
not how far it is from the top. When wdc hit 30 or asnd hit
50 lots of people stepped up to the plate, they were looking
up when they needed to be looking down.Using this form of
screening on the value line semis list TXN does not look
so good even though it has fallen a long ways it is still
very much in the money for lots of people.IDTI looks pretty
good and AMD looks excellent.Of course if you push out the
52 week window AMD does not look so good.

I use value line as one of my indeces because lots of people
use value line so it acts as a decent indicator.

Hope this helps,
Charlie
