And the people who aren't miners, ranchers and whatever can just go hang, right? Besides, most of those you like don't want to own the land at fair market value. Or any value, really. They want to be able to make their money off the taxpayer and then abandon the lands when they are no longer profitable and leave it to the taxpayer to pay to restore it.

That is the American way.
