You decided to dodge the question. Not surprised. That is your MO. What disasters caused by the EPA? I know of a lot they cleaned up. Oh, say the Texas City Wye. Or Brio Refinery. Fun fact, a lot of the superfund sites are/were on private land after the companies skated. Brio was a fun one. There were chunks of very poisonous chemicals just laying on the ground. Decades after the involved companies left, there was almost no grass growing. In East Texas. Where grass grows everywhere... I have worked on some superfund sites. While there are lots of things to complain about the EPA, creating disasters isn't one of them. Except for the blindly ideological. Look at the country pre-EPA. Rivers that caught on fire. Rivers devoid of life more complicated than bacteria. Air quality that approached Beijing. Lakes devastated by acid rain. Sulfuric acid content in the air so high it would eat the paint off houses and the pantyhose off of women. I grew up in the middle of the biggest oil refinery region in the world. I remember what it was like, pre=EPA. You are totally full of shit. As to your "intended use" of land, say what? Who gets to determine the use? Bonus points for mentioning communist governments...
