It would be stupid of them to waste a good nominee on a hopeless case.

any one Obama puts up is a dedicated leftist. Ginsburg by all standards is as leftist as any justice in history. Voting in lock step with Ginsburg in 34 out of 35 important cases from 2012 to 2015 are the two Obama appointees.....Kagan and Sotomoyer. Get a grip.....man

Why? Is he barred from being a nominee again?

Besides, as a good nominee, one that has already been approved by the Senate, if he is rejected it shows how the Senate is purely partisan and not operating for the good of the country.

Which would benefit the Democrats and hurt the Republicans. It isn't Obama's job to do what is best for the Republicans...

Why hopeless, Dave? Is it the skin color, or the strange name? Both?
