I have heard many legal scholars on both sides say that Roe v Wade was a poor decision. There were other ways to legalize abortion without corrupting the constitution.

Or just get five liberal justices to interpret the Constitution any way they feel like. Like the way the very clear 2nd amend. is interpreted????

To this day, I still can't figure out how the 4th amendment can be construed in a way that legalizes abortion. In much the same way you justify being against abortion because you imagine Jesus would have been. Despite ample opportunity to raise his concerns, he passed. So I guess the New Testament is a living and evolving document, huh? Or take slavery. The Bible has been used to justify opposition to the practice. Yet neither the Old Testament nor the New Testament comes out against it. In fact, the Old Testament describes rules for how a father can can sell his daughters into slavery. Jesus didn't talk about slaves much. But he didn't seem to be opposed in any way.
