dream on, etc. Well, I guess that means you understand the infinite complexity. Would you care to explain it all to us? I mean, I've sort of tried, 'cause I don't think it's all that complicated, but nobody actually seems to want to discuss it as something comprehensible by mere mortals. If you like your computer screen looking like a video game begging to be played with, that's your choice. Me, I sorta like it sitting there quitely and unobtrusively until I want it to do something, but some people like yippy little dogs too.

Oh, and as for testing, I guess you, Reg, Sal, and old Steverino will have to get together and explain the ethics of IE4 and testing to erstwhile Microphile Fred Moody. He seemed to think there was some problem there, so far as to say the whole thing was "unethical". Of course, Moody also thought Microsoft was famous for rigorous testing. Which makes me wonder why the OEMs are so dead-set against that 2 year old retail release, allegedly buggy and obsolete. But it's what the customers want! It's the best seller!

As you can see, I can't help but be bemused by the whole situation.

Cheers, Dan.
