Christopher, I have to agree with RADAR.
You say that TA does not work well with stocks under $10. Why?!
TA is based on price and volume. All stocks have price and volume
that vary every day giving TA charts different looks. If a stock
does not have much money flowing in and out of it as you stated
before then it will show on the chart as it would be reflected
by the stock price and volume. Doug R. is picking stocks based on their charts and I think he is picking the stocks that do have enough
of money flowing in and out of them to make the charts. Again, TA
is based on the price changes of the stock and volume and is not
dependent on how high the price of the stock is. Moving averages
for example is a summation of the price and has nothing to do with
how high the price is. Could you make a case to show that if the stock price is less then $10 that it would throw off its moving averages? Christopher, you are generating a lot of
noise on this thread and disrupting many people from doing their
work to support what this thread was intended for. Why don't you
pick another thread and leave this one alone.
