Brumar, the left will claim that increased education of birth control methods in California has led to increased responsibility and "safer sex." I actually agree with that viewpoint, but it's hard to know for sure whether California really increased the education thereof, or whether they just threw more money at the issue, then patted themselves on the back when the statistics came back in their favor. In any case, decreased demand for abortions should be celebrated by both sides of the abortion debate, should it not? Unless of course one side has a vested interest in keeping the issue alive ...
