Hi Everyone, Some interesting news is that through the years there were only 7,000 believers known in Israel, in the last few months the number of confessing believers has increased to 15,000 and growing rapidly. That is a tremendous sign of His imenent return, You shall not see Me here ( Israel ) again until you learn to cry, Blessed is He who comes in the Lord.
Nancy

Ah. Rev. 14:14. Very interesting, and I have missed that. Now I will line that up with Chapter 7 and make sense of it with my trusty Strong's. That is a good point. But all of the Revelations of John is very linier, if that is the word. It was not poured over and edited and reedited according to John. He apparently blasted it out as he saw it, and now it remains a mystery for the Holy Spirit to reveal, and the seeming confusion is not confusing at all. You just have to really pay attention exactly to what John saw, and as he saw it, and it is very logical then. He also repeats portions of the trials to come. As at first the Lord Jesus shows him in the spirit the things that must come to pass--happen in the future. We have always read that as the Lord and John gazing down on the earth as it was happening. Actually, that long conversation in the spirit is followed by angels setting out to BEGIN to do these things and another angel rushing in and commanding the to STOP BEGINNING TO DO THESE THINGS. Until......

That's what I've noticed about what John saw, anyway, because I believe the Lord wanted me to notice them maybe. I put this on a post on Jesus Financial, and it is there somewhere. I just threw it out to see if there was any interest, and apparently there wasn't.
The point was not made, anyway.

If we can discuss it here, fine, but no matter what is said on this thread, it might l just turn into argument, and the Lord knows that we have had enough of that.

Bob, It has been suggested by Jane that disagreements about the time of the rapture will not solve anything and that it should not be discussed on this thread. I do believe that Shalom's reason for starting this thread was so that he could expound his own beliefs about Christians having to go through the Great Tribulation. It is interesting to note that in Revelation 4 through 18 no mention of the church on earth is found. Instead, believers are referred to as believing Gentiles or believing Jews but never as the church. The church is in Heaven and not on earth during that period.
I will honor Jane's request although I still think there should be an opposing viewpoint considering that the rapture is considered a blessed hope in the Bible and the fallacy of having to endure the tribulation where most of the world population is killed off is not my idea of a blessed hope.
