I disagree with you on the idea that no insider preferential treatment in this country.
Insider preferential treatments are rampant - look at The Chair of Senate Financial Committee - he got several thousand shares of an IPO company a few years ago simply by calling the underwriting broker and stated he was the powerful chair of so and so and made 30K in a single day. He was investigated later on but found not guilty.
Day in day out insiders are taken advantage of the information they know to make money. Look at Musicland(MLG), one insider bought large shares of stock knowing they will report good numbers. He filed with the SEC 3 months after he purchased the shares. Look at 3COMS management, ASND, the examples are numerous.

Why do you think the top richest 20% Americans has more than 70% of this nation's wealth? The rich only get richer, and the hungry poor children in this country will still be hungry in the next century.
