This is good info. Thanks.
Now the big question I have is that this took place before the Asian debacle. We have already seen several fabs that were scheduled to come on line in Asia be either canceled or postponed due to the lack of capital. So we have the same situation we have discussed before. The Asian tigers can no longer build fabs with the intent of losing money for years and having their governments support them. Thus supply will have to stabalize. Assuming that world demand stays fairly constant, prices should also stabalize. This means that wafers should also possibly stabalize. So this info may not hold true for next year.
Any comments from anyone?
