Got a Zip-related question others might have run into:
Have an external SCSI Zip attached to a PowerMac and and a parallel internal Zip attached to a Win95 PC. Am trying to use the setup to transfer large files (mostly JPEG image files) between machines.
The disks are formatted on the PC using surface erase option. The disks can be mounted on the Mac using PC Exchange. I copy files (8.3 DOS format) to the disk, take the disk to the PC and am unable to access the disk. The error message says something like, "The disk in Drive I is unavailable". The disk can not even be re-formatted on the PC now and must be ejected. Does anyone have experience in the does-and-don'ts of Mac-PC file transfer using Zip drives?

Thanks
Dave

Zakrosian... I saw the ad, a whole bunch of times, in fact. It featured about half a dozen logos including Toshiba, IBM, US Rob.,
and Microsoft. Pretty good company for a "hype" outfit like IOM.
