RE: "The only PC's I saw with built in Zips were SONY's"

Brian and Zead both reported the same thing from two different locations.

Let me add the Computer City in Nashua, NH to list of stores that only have one PC in stock with a Zip&#153 and it is a Sony. i asked one salesman if they had any others (because the Sony was wicked expensive) and he said that they sold all the other ones and the display Sony was the only PC with a Zip&#153 left in the store. i know that had Compaqs before. He said they sold well but didn't know they if they were ordering more: "...but if you want the demo you can get a discount and it is still under warranty...."

Also, we were in that store about three weeks ago and there were thousands (like a half row in one place and a floor display near the door) Zip&#153 disk: iomega 3 and 10 packs and color gigapacks with RecordIt&#153 and Fugi 3 and 10 packs. This weekend there were no color gigapacks or iomega 3 packs! There were also less Fugis. my point is that even though the iomega disk cost more than the Fugi, they sold more of them. And we know they are the exact same quality and the Fugi are 100% compatable. Doesn't look to good for a certain company that hopes to sell low quality, incompatable disk that may damage your drive<G>
