Clinton,
I'm not saying it puts $$ into the stock, that indicator assumes that if stock goes off on the uptick then it's a buy. I was just showing that that assumption is not always true. I also believe that you have to short on the uptick on NASDAQ , I shorted AMAT the other day but I don't know if it had to go off on an uptick ( I'll check). It sounds to me like you have a case of "I don't want to here the stocks going lower" If there is one piece of advise I would ever give it's to seperate your brain from your emotions. If your long MSFT for the next five years then who cares you'll make $$, but it's my experience that everyone is long term until they lose $$. It's like boxing, "everyone has a plan until they get hit". If you want to pick 5-10 points on MSFT, take a shot at it. But you better have a better reason to buy the stock than that lame indicator.
