Believe me, Acer produces memory chips. Texas Inststruments partnered with them because they want to reduce their DRAM
exposure and to allow them to focus on
DSP chips. Maybe it's just a separate division of the Acer
PC Company? Its not a supplier relationship.
I've been invested in Texas Instruments, so I've been following
them for a while.

Larry Dudash from the TI thread put together a great table on
the world's top Memory producers and the supply/demand situation --
I'll post it in a few. . .
