Nobody, need such speeds. ISDN is pretty reasonable if you can get it... No special equipment just an adapter instead of a modem...

I also use Windows NT 4.0 workstation... It is really stable compared to 95, but requires a lot of horsepower. that is why I have so much ram... 32mb isn't enough.. 64mb is really minimum...
Since I have a lot of applications open at one time the more ram the better, and considering 64mb SDRAM only costs $200 these days why not...

Check if your local cable company offers Internet access. If you're lucky and it does, you can get much faster access speeds than ISDN for lower price.

Another necessity for trading is a backup ISP.
