But MSFT was lat in releasing a product that they were heavily advertising as the next best thing to Apple and they were late and it didn't work well when they finally released it. It took months to get all the bugs fixed. AND they still have bugs in the product. NO.....SEC didn't halt them but I think they were instrumental in making them put out the product before they had a chance to work out all the bugs because shareholders were complaining that the stock should have gone up right after the release of the product. BTW...the stock dropped right after the product was released because of all the bugs. Since then it's gone balistic but... Ginger
