NCs require servers to run. Guess what DELL is focusing on.

Dell helped define the NC, and was first to market with it. They
have the best price point and the most powerfull offering in this
category. The margins on this type of system are as good as
their standard desktop offerings and will continue to be because
of what they truly are architecturally.

Dell stands to benefit tremendously if NC acceptance occurs.
At this time, corporations aren't buying in any significant
volume. They may never buy because the price difference between
full functionality PC's will remain small.

Also, the prediction of 40% of businesses using NC by 1999 doesn't mean anything. 100% of businesses are using some sort
of NC today... even Dell.
