As predicted, UConn did run all over Oregon St tonight. They beat them by about 30. UConn is now 121-1, winning by an average of 40 points this year. Syracuse, meanwhile, beat Washington by about 20.

There's somewhat of a debate if UConn winning so dominantly is bad for the woman's game. It's a really stupid question in that it presupposes that if your team likely won't win the national championship, which is statistically about 99% of teams in all sports at all levels, then your season was meaningless. If you think the teams in the tournament this year just mailed it in then you weren't watching. OK,statistically, 99% of guys don't watch anyway, and I admit if I didn't live in CT I likely wouldn't either. But I do watch and I do enjoy how well the team plays. They actually might be the best coached team of any collegiate sport, ever.

So, tune in Tuesday and see for yourself. Or, I suppose, you can be like Bill, who TIVOs his favorite women's sporting events. As for UConn losing, well, that would be, in the words of Vizzini, "inconceivable".
